    Try to re-install Nvidia driver.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

If I do that it complains that it is already installed.
    Code:
    yum -y install xorg-drv-nvidia-libs-190.53-1.fc11.i586

Package xorg-drv-nvidia-libs-190.53-1.fc11.i586 already installed and latest version

You could try using YUM to remove the nvidia driver then install it again. I think that should work.
