    steps or example of creating a map file.

    Hi All,

    I would like to add some restrictions to my postfix configuration such as this:

    "smtpd_sender_restriction = check_sender_access maptype:mapname"

    can you please give me detailed instruction on how to create this maptype:mapname file...

    please make it a detailed one since I am still a novice with linux.

    This has nothing to do with Linux per se, but is an issue with your postfix mail server. Read the documentation for that to determine how to properly configure it.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
