Need some assistance with FOG
Hello, i'm new to Linux and attempting to setup a FOG server. Everything goes fine on the installation up until it says "Setting up and starting DHCP server... Failed"
Not sure what could cause this issue, and can't find anything on the web.
Also I should add this I suppose, I am at a school that has 300+ computers attatched to it. I have segregated the FOG server and it currently doesn't have internet access to prevent any problems.
Any idea's?
Also - It's not an option to connect it to the internet.

Is it conficting with another DHCP server?
Why not use the DHCP server that you already have? You just add two options on the scope as show in the Fog documentation. Thats what I did, and I have not had any trouble with it.

We were setting up Fog in a similar situation and encountered a similar problem. Try setting up your network connection as a static IP below .10 (i.e. 192.168.1.5), with no DNS.

Did you have it isolated from the internet during the install?
I thought it needed to be connected in order to get the right packages.

The packages were downloaded separately while connected to the internet, the configuration was run on a private switch with no internet access. The step he's up to is part of the configuration so I assumed he got the packages somehow.
