    Hi and Welcome !

Download Fedora-12-i386-DVD. Source DVD has source code only.

Burn ISO file as an Image only. Most of DVD burners have that feature. Do not create data or bootable DVD.

Make sure to select BURN IMAGE TO DISK option in your DVD burner package.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    Welcome to the forums!

You definitely don't want to bother with downloading the source ISO file unless you need to recompile from source for some reason. Check this HowTo for the proper steps to download the ISO file, burn it to disk as an image, and then boot with the newly created installation disk:

Good luck with it, and post back should you run into any issues with the process.
