    Post IPv6 compliance questions

I am working on setting up Ipv6 comliance.

This weekend I will be working on the following:
Re-configure home ASA5505 to tunnel 6to4 for all home traffic and fully configure the home environment for ipv6 and ipv4. By default Ipv6 will be the native layer. I will not be deploying a DHCPv6 this weekend. Everything will be stateless for IPv6 for the time being. Eventually I will either use Comcast DHCPv6 services or will deploy a DHCPv6 server.

    The next step:
After this is complete I wanted to make my primary web/email server, fedora12, that is hosted in florida and make it ipv6 compliant as well.

    Problems:
    1) I have no router at the datacenter that is my own.
    2) I am uncertain when my datacenter will have ipv6 address' to provide me.

    NOTE:
I should be able to get my home ipv6 address', or have a ipv6 location to test from sometime in 2010.

    GOAL:
    1) Continue using Ipv4 for default communication on the Fedora12 box until I have Ipv6 address' to assign.
    2) Install and configure all required pieces for IPv4/Ipv6 communication.

Q1a: I have read in a couple places that suggest fedora12 can do host based 6to4 tunnels. How do I set this up?
Q1b: Does anyone recommend something other than 6to4 for the Fedora 12server?
Q1c: Anyone know of a whitepaper that would fit my situation?

Q2a: If I do go the path of deploying a DHCPv6 server in my home I will choose Fedora as the operating system. Anyone know how to set this up?

I havnt done IPv6 in production yet but I have done some reading into the security of it and have some links:

HOWTO: IPv6 Tunnel under Fedora 12 looked like a good place to start for me (see the protocol 41 stuff towards the end)

Let me know how you get on as this is of interest to me

Thanks. I also found Freenet6 (cant put url because of forum limit on no url before 15 posts).

I also found several other sites with additional information on freenet6 with install instructions for fedora and even 1 site where the author had a problem with a compiler upgrade causing freenet6 to break. He supplied patches to correct the issue.

I also found a website for setting up IPv6 tunnels in fedora12 and the author supplies references and links to freenet6. They also describes a deployment method which combines ipv6 tunnels from fedora12 and freenet6 as a way of recieving the ipv6 address.

Although i would love to share the resources URL i can't. If a admin comes accross this I would love to have them add the URL's as this is probabally the perfect solution for the fedora 12 server and others could benefit from it.
