How can i replace 503 error page in Apache?

I run Linux RedHat and want to find out how can I replace the standard Apache 503 error page with my own? This is my configuration in the httpd.conf file for error pages. Can I just edit the HTTP_SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE.html.var in /var/www/error directory and replace the content with my own , or how can I accomplish my goal?

Add this to the .htaccess file.

ErrorDocument 403 (cant write it out but its the full url to the error file)

or you can do it locally as

ErrorDocument 403 /nameofcustom403error.htm

you can aslo look at "mod_rewrite" which will do it basically the same way. mod_rewrite is more complicated but there is tons of info on the web about it.
