    Unable to access resume device UUID=(9a2309db-96ab-45b4-92db-fa85f407e2df)
    mount: could not find filesystem /dev/root

    Boot up from LiveCD of any Linux distro and mount / partition. Post the contents of /etc/fstab file and output of fdisk -l command here.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    Ok now. I used mondo to backup a system and was getting this on boot on restore in another system.
    Updated mondo and updates included recognizing system using UUID instead of sda mapping .
    I wasn't aware of the switch from sda to uuid

    Had to get the right keywords though to find the info.
