    Weird space missing

We're running RHEL4Update 2 and Lotus Notes Domino. Since disk space was filling up pretty darn quick, I deleted approximately 20g - however, that 20g seems to have vanished.

df -h does not show the free space at all - still 240g of 250g still shows up as still in use.

Just to be on the safe side, I did to a reboot, still no luck.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks, Jay

    Hi and Welcome !

How did you delete 20GB? Command Line or through Graphical Interface? Have you checked trash?

If you are updating RHEL regularly then clear Package Manager's cache too. It takes a lot of disk space.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

I deleted the files from the command line.

There is no GUI installed on this box.

    Weird...Jay

Post the output of df -h command. Have you cleared cache?
