I am a newbie and amazed with the power of linux.
my query is i know to install squid proxy server abut dont know how to troubleshoot it if anyone can show me the steps and the common errors in squid log tiles for example (TCP_MISS) etc would really help me master the squid.as at my organisation when ever i get a problem i dotn know to trouble shoot
also elaborate wht this command means squid_acl -uproxy -pproxy proxy

man squid_acl is your friend. Or go to your O'Reilly library, stick the Squid book on the shelf, and start reading it
It is better for you and the forum to ask pointed questions (when I do this in my config, squid behaves like that, so it doesn't work, where is my problem? Here are my configs).
Mastering squid is something that is not learned by just running squid. You'll have to do some reading in books / webpages / wikis / manpages and the likes...
