what is the relationship between RPM 5.0 and redhat?
I feel foolish having to ask this, as it's something I should be able to google, but I can't seem to get a definitive answer. How is the RPM 5.0 package related to redhat 5.2? I know RPM 5.0 can be installed on redhat 5.2, but is it offically supported? Would it be a good or bad idea to make an RPM for redhat 5.2 (or later) using rpm-build 5.0?
