    It's just better to get a toolchain that has been prebuilt unless you are experienced in doing this. In any case, you can download the source for an ARM toolchain from a number of sources, including Debian -- The Universal Operating System, Technologic Systems PC/104 Single Board Computers and Peripherals, etc. I use one from embeddedarm.com because I am running Debian Etch Linux on some of their ARM processor boards.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
