I don't run Fedora, but you can check this HowTo:

    Fedora Nvidia Driver Install Guide

Most users have been reporting that this HowTo worked well for them, especially the RPMFusion method. Perhaps someone running Fedora will chime in with more info for you.

Either way, post back if you have any problems getting it to work.

Is there such a thing as a 64 bit driver or does that not matter?

If you are running the 64-bit version of Fedora, your package repositories (if properly configured) should be 64-bit, so anything that you install from them should be 64-bit as well.

I don't know how to run an GUI version as root and when I browse the xorg.conf file where it shows me the path in the nvidia..its pretty much blank.

So what file is affecting so I can edit it to save? Or start as root?
