    Help cannot shutdown

    when click logout and shutdown, it syas "initiating start up sequence"

    Can I just remove the CD? will that create any problems??? and shut down with computer on/off button?

    You can do that but make sure to un-mount partitions, if mounted any. Execute df -h command in Terminal/Konsole to check mounted partitions.

    Which version of Knoppix are you using?
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
