Yum Repo Error: Errno14 PYCURL ERROR 7
Hi guys;
I am trying to get xine to work on my FC13 Rawhide live-usb and I put in my repositories and this is the error i get when trying to install some of the xine files. I did some research prior to posting, but i am really afraid im going to botch my system if i do this without assistance.
Now, im not sure of the validity of these two pages, but they are relevant to this issue. The first one is a post on this forum actually:yum install xine-plugin.i686 xvidcore.i686 xine-lib.i686xine-lib-extras-freeworld.i686 xine-lib-extras.i686 oxine.i686
Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit

Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://mirrors.rpmfusion.org/mirrorl...a-13&arch=i386 error was

Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: rpmfusion-free. Please verify its path and try again
[Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 7 - FedoraForum.org

In the forums post here, it talks about checking GPG keys and setting them using the command line to 1, or 0. Now this i did without any error or problem by typing gpgcheck=0 or gpgcheck=1 after which on both tries i attempted to yum install those files from the repo.
At this time I also checked my curl as it instructed:
--nothing seems to be out of place with it.[root@localhost Downloads]# rpm -q libcurl yum
libcurl-7.20.0-1.fc13.i686
yum-3.2.26-4.fc13.noarch
The next site was a bit more helpfull: it explained that the fedora server was overloaded and that I needed to get a new mirror. The site provided a series of links to mirrors, but i am afraid that if i input any of these i will mess my yum up big time.
Can someone help me out here in doing whatever needs to be done to allow me to update my xine so i can watch mp4's and youtube vids?

Thanks for stopping by,
Euralis
