    Post Fedora Directory Server Mirroring/Replicating

    Hi All,

I have installed FDS on my RHEL 5 Enterprise Edition, everything seems to be ok and currently my client are requesting me to do the mirroring for Fedora Directory Server.

I have come across some of the site for doing the replication of the directory database, but still not clear in how to proceed furterh, the client environment is very sensitive and I cannot get Internet access from the server to download any patches. I can only copy and require patches to the server.

Can any one help me with any proper steps to do the Fedora Directory Server mirroring.

This request is very urgent, and hope people can help me on this.

    Thanks and Best Regards

Thumbs up Worked - Using Howto:Configuring Multimaster Relication

    Hi All,

I managed to make the mirroring work using the "Configuring Multimaster Replication" Howto from the following link directory.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Howto:MultiMasterReplication
    Howto:MultiMasterReplication - 389 Directory Server
    Everything works fine.

I tested in my VMWare, we have to install the Net::LDAP perl component, for which we have to run the CPAN tool from Linux, but my problem is in production envrionment I dont have the internet due to security reasons. So, I cannot use the "cpan".

Is there anyway that we can download the perl component and transfer to the prod env and install the relevant components.

    Can anyone help on this.

    Regards
