I'm hoping one you fine folks might point me to a how-to on getting desktop sharing working between two Fedora 11 machines connected by the Internet, as opposed to machines on the local net segment.

As background, I have ssh and vnc working and can launch a KDE desktop on the "remote" from the "local". Router is forwarding ssh port, and DynDNS provides the handy URL. All that seems to work just fine, but what I'm really shooting for is to share the desktop of the currently active user of the remote machine.

Krfb/Krdc seems to only be applicable if the two machines are unfettered by routers and such and have readily resolvable addresses or URLs. If that is a mistaken notion of mine, please set me straight.

Thanks.
