    command prompt has changed

    Hello

    When I normally open a shell the command prompt I get is this:
    [goude@system2 files]$

    but today for some strange reason I get this:

    [goude@system2 ~]$

    Can anyone help me please?

    The prompt will change when you change directories. This is more or less normal. The '~' indicates the shell is open in your home directory.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
    Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!

    It's all working now. The problem was that empty tcshrc.cenbtral file I mentioned in the other post.
