Automatically clear Trash when user logs off the gnome desktop in rhel4.7

    Hi Guys,

We've been having issues with shares running out of space on a somewhat regular basis. We've found that majority of the time its due to the users Trash folder holding GB's of data in it.

Is there a way that I can get the users Trash to automatically be deleted when they log off the system?
All machines are XW9400's, running RedHat 4.7 and use the gnome desktop.

Let me know if you need anymore info

    Many Thanks

Add a rm command in /etc/gdm/PostSession/Default script to empty Trash. This script get executed on Logout.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    Hi Deils_casper

I should have mentioned that its NIS users Trash that will need to be emptied on log out, not the local users. Is there a file or anything that i can modify to do this?
