Postix with Amavis error Centos 5

Hi everyone... I setup postfix and got that accepting emails without any problem. I tried to setup amavis to use ClamAV and spammAssasin and now i am not receiving emails.
Mail log has multiple lines like the one bellow.

May 11 06:23:34 secure postfix/qmgr[21522]: warning: connect to transport amavis: Connection refused

Any help would be appreciated

Also wanted to add that the port for amavis is open and accepting connections... I am able to telnet to it
