    New Guy Server

    Hi Everyone

This is my first post and also a plea for help too . I am a new migrant to Linux and, whilst I enjoy using it there are also things I need help with.

I am a long time Windows user and decided to dip my toe in the Linux waters.

So on with the issues, I have a server (not built by me) thats is NAS, and runs Fedora I think 8.

There are currently two hard drives 500g which I think run in raid zero ? It runs really well but I am fast using up its space.

I currently have a 2 Tera Samsung Spinpoint which I would like to install in the server. I am happy to install the drive but I am unsure and concered about the software side of things on the installation.

I dont want to muck up the existing setup or lose my data your best advice would be very gratefully received. Please keep very basic as I am not fully conversant with Fedora.

    Thanks

    Pete

you can enlarge your space using lvm, if it was originally used on old drivers
