Hi all,

I am trying to set up some Sun Sparcstations with RedHat already on it as NFS servers.

If I edit the /etc/exports file to allow hosts to acces directories then I can use only fully specified IP addresses (one or a bunch of them).

If I look up the manpages (man exports) on those particular Sparcstations then I see under examples quite a lot of different ways but they mostly don't work.

I don't sit now in front of my home network and can't say what RedHat version it is exactly but I guess something from 2005 or so.

Is it quite normal such a mismatch of manpages and functionality with RedHat on Sparcstations?
