    Question kudzu

    Hi,

    When i do a

    #kudzu --probe |grep SAS
desc: "LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS1078 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS"

does this mean i have that SAS HBA card installed? bit confused as to what kudzu does, is it reporting whats already installed or what hardware that is compatible and "may be" installed ??
I'm trying to find out the HBA on my box.

Yes, that is what you have in your machine. Kudzu is just a hardware probing tool that detects your hardware during boot.
