    Fedora-13-x86-64 Freezing

    Hello Everyone,

    I installed Fedora-13-x86-64 on Toshiba 64 bit RAM 4G, HD 500 G
to substitute the beta version. The problem was, after the installation, the system was freezing several times, not responding at all from keyboard and mouse. I can only shut the system down from the console by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F5 and log in as a root and invoke > shutdown -h now.

Usually, when the system is freezing, we need to log in from the console and invoke > ps -x and kill the suspected processes, e.g., the web-browser. In previous Fedora, after pressing Ctrl+Alt+F5, we could always get back to X by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F6. However, this function no longer works in Fedora-13 (at least on my system). Really appreciate for any clue.
    Thank you.

    try Ctrl+Alt+F1, Ctrl+Alt+F7, and Ctrl+Alt+F8.

it differs based on runlevel, version of fedora, and configuration.

    Hi,
All those combinations (Ctrl+Alt+AnyF) did not work either.

Just curios, I downloaded the Kernel linux-2.6.34-rc7. Could anyone let me know the name of the file which controls this function. Thanks in advance for any response.
