    Angry syntax in Fedora 5

    rpm -qa | grep "wlassistant"
    gives no result

    : should have some comment or something

    ndiswrapper - l : bash: ndiswrapper NOT founf

    dhcpd wlan0
    bash: dhcpd : command NOT found


    why am I getting these results ---

    Because it's not installed? That should be the correct result, no output. I get the same result here. I don't have it installed.

    These are not installed either? You should seriously consider upgrading to the newest Fedora. FC5 is old, unsupported and probably wide open to security breaches.

    Talking It is Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 Update 5, a rebuild of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5

    this is the recent issue (tested well) Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 Update 5, a rebuild of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5 with Oracle-specific fixes.

    For simplicity- I said Redhat 5.5 since OEL 5.5 is specific to Oracle users
