i have 160 Gb HDD and 512 mb ram....i already installed Win Xp..... can i now install fedora..... then how many HDD space shold be allocated? whether primary partition needed...

    Half of your hard disk should be enough, but you should check the official documentation on this subject.

    You may find it intresting that my netbook has a 4GB primary partition, and is running Fedora 13. I'm using it right now to look at this forum. I have only installed a minimal set of applications, but it works great. I use a 16GB SDHC card for my full system for this netbook, so you can get away with a small partition, even if you wanta comprehensive installation.
