    RHEL 5.2: Installation Problem

    Hello everyone,

I am not very new to LINUX. I was using UBUNTU for the last 1 year and i have switched to Redhat now because i am thinking of taking a RHCE certification now.
Sorry for my bad english, i am not that good in that...

Actually the problem is that i am unable to install RHEL 5.2 i386 on my i686 machine, i have bought it recently 1 week ago. I tried to use the boot parameter "linux noprobe" then it said drivers not found after 2 steps when it loads drivers.
When i tried to make a GUI install it hanged after "loading /sbin/loader" and said "kernel panic - not syncying".
And when i tried to make a text install it said hanged agin after "loading /sbin/loader" and said something like "Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP".

So is there any solutions? And if drivers are needed then when can i get those and how can i install those drivers?
here is my hardware information as "lspci" says:

    Hi and Welcome !

Could you post exact error message and a few other messages that appear before it? Did you test the same installation media in any other machine?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    Sir,

when is tried GUI or text (boot parameters "linux text") install, it stopped after "running /sbin/loader" and gave an error message "Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP last sysfs file: /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:00.0/class"

When i used the parameter "linux text noapic" it again stopped at the time location after "running /sbin/loader" and gave error messages as:

    Call Tree: "something something"
    "somedriver...................."
    .........................................
    .........................................
    .........................................
    .........................................
    Code: "some hexadecimal values
    .........................................
    ........................................."
    EIP: [<c054c18a>] dev_driver_string+0x2/0x21 SS:ESP 0068:c1904ddc
    <0> Kernel panic-not syncing : Fatal Exception

And when i tried "linux noprobe"
it said "no driver found" after selecting language and keyboard layout and gave me a dialog box to select driver and options were: "Select Driver", "Use a Driver Disk" and "Back". Then i tried to select a driver from the given list but nothing happened.......

Is there a way to save that installation log so that i can show you more info using logs???
