[SOLVED] Firefox not maximizing
Hello,
My first steps with Linux went pretty well after 2 times needing to format for the Nvidia driver install that gone completely bad. And not being able to watch youtube movies etc. Believe me, I was thinking about posting here many times before
.. But i managed to fix it with stuff I found on this forum + internet. Hower, now i've come to a point where I found something very very very annoying. First of all a few specs:
- Fedora 13 x86_64 kernel: 2.6.33.5-124.fc13.x86_64
- KDE desktop
- Installed Nvidia graphics driver for my Geforce 9800GTX
Well the annoying thing is that when i click the Firefox short cut on my desktop, the window opens, but not takes the whole screen... Definitely more then half, but i want to have it maximized by default. I've went trough the forum and the system settings. But can't find a simple solution.
Can anyone help me out??

I just fixed something like this on my system.
Try dragging the window to full size. Don't use the maximize button, grab the edge of the window with your cursor. Once it's at full size, hold the Ctrl key down and close the window. Open FireFox again, and it should be maximised.
Hope this helps,
Mike

Oh My God.. could it be more easy?
You don't need to CTRL + Close though. If you resize it without maximizing, it will remember the window state before you closed it. They should put it in Big Letters somewhere.
This is solved, thanks alot.
