    regarding libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3

    Hi All,

    I am working with red hat Linux enterprise 4 and i want to install one program but when I am trying to install it,I am getting the error

    This product requires the GNU C++ Runtime Library (libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3)
    or later. Your system must be upgraded before installation can proceed.
    So try to search it on net but unable to get the right rpm.

    So please provide me your suggestions to get it done ??

    Thanks in advance...

    what application are you trying to install?

    you need to install libstdc++ and maybe the compat package, why not use up2date to install?

    Basically, the package you are trying to install is not compatible with your operating system. I am running RHEL (CentOS) 5.5 (the latest) and the libstdc++ for g++ 4.4.0 is only 6.0.8. What program/package are you trying to install?

    It is compatible with operating system and I was able to install it before and It was also working fine but now, I am getting this issue only.

    I will appreciate if any one will provide me the links for libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3.
