Has anyone installed ISPConfig 3 with RHEL or Centos on a i386 system?
I just keep finding the x64 version of guides but nothing on the i386.
Feedback please....

I think you refer to this howto:
The Perfect Server - CentOS 5.5 x86_64 [ISPConfig 3] | HowtoForge - Linux Howtos and Tutorials
Quickreading through the pages, I noticed:
1) external x86_64 repositories will be included.
On looking at the repos: they are also available as i386.
So you are lucky here.
2) some of the commands need to be altered for a i386 environment (for example lib64 -> lib)
3) in the later part it asks for several tools to be compiled from source.
Which to my understanding is a bit unclean for a server environment.
Building these as RPM packages would be preferable.
So, the guide is good.
It can quite easy be translated to i386, but one would need a bit of experience and knowledge to overcome the little quirks, that will surely come up during the translation. You must always face the curtain with a bow.
