Question help : Web server back to defaults, clean start,

I have been running a web server from my fedora box for ~ 2 years now, though I have done terrible things to it by way of configuration settings. It seemingly works fine now, but i suspect that I have done some things in an innapropriate way. I would like to remove all of my current settings and web accessable info, and start fresh.

What is the cleanest way to set my server's configuration files back to basics

(not conserned about system settings related to firewalls)

    your help is greatly appreciated

Which version of Fedora are you using? Are you upgrading it regularly?
If you want to start fresh then fresh install is the best way.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Unfortunately, this is also a used as a tower to my housemates. I would rather not re-install, but i could be swayed if no alternatives arise.

    I am running FedoraCore 12
I update from the repositorys, but do not plan on running dist-upgrades
