    Unhappy Qmail Configuration Issue

    Hi ,

    We are using RHEL 4.0 , i just configure QMail for my server, Now my internal mail send receive is working properly , but i when i am sending a mail outside my domain its giving error

    "e.g error 553 sorry , that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthost #5.7.1"

    If i try sending mails using SMTPS its working fine ....I am trying to send mails from outlook express...

    My Server is not an open relay ....what settings do i need to configure in rcpthost file...

    You need to set the RELAYCLIENT environment variable for qmail-smtpd for connections from the local host. How to do this depends upon how you've configured your SMTP service. I recommend you look at lifewithqmail.org.
