    Giving priority for users

    Hi ,
    I want to give priority access for some users when they logon to the Redhat Server.
    I changed in the /etc/security/limits.conf file but also i am not able to
    get the priority .

    Can anyone help me in this

    What do you mean by "priority access"? Do you mean that you want the applications that they start to run at a higher priority (lower nice factor) than other users?
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

    yes ,
    when they run any applications they should be getting higher priority than others
