    [SOLVED] post -b

    Hi folks,

i want to run post in batch mode.
I've seen from man that for this purpose there's the -b option available, but i've seen that in this way i will loose all the info showed in the head section

    top - 12:32:08 up 2 days, 5:59, 7 users, load average: 0.16, 0.16, 0.19
    Tasks: 545 total, 1 running, 544 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
    Cpu(s): 1.3%us, 0.5%sy, 0.0%ni, 98.2%id, 0.1%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.0%si, 0.0%st
    Mem: 32962056k total, 20802252k used, 12159804k free, 379612k buffers
    Swap: 33551744k total, 0k used, 33551744k free, 17042084k cached

More over infos are showed continously (without) some head or interruption to separate one cycle from the next.

    Someone has any ideas?

    Hi,
    i found a solution.
It's only needed to put the "-n" option (-n Specifies the maximum number of iterations top has to perform).
    Bye
