Question Fresh fedora install and I am missing taskbars

    Hi all,

Slight problem, I have just installed Fedora 13 on to a new build but for some reason I am missing the top and bottom taskbars. I can see the GNOME desktop with two icons, I have managed to get yum running, which is currently downloading updates. I have used the same live CD on other systems with incident.

Just wondering if there is some thing I could try to reset or start a service setting etc to get the taskbars to show?

    Thanks

If you start the gnome-panel manually does it appear?

Hit ALT+F2 for a run dialog and enter
    Code:
    gnome-panel

I think I solved it. It looks like Fedora was running dual screens, only showing the extended desktop. I connected an LVDS panel to the motherboard and there was the menus. I have reconfigured GNOME settings to mirror the desktop and that has allowed me to see the taskbars when using VGA.
