    ntfs filesystem

    i have an external media of filesystem ntfs type . i mounted it to /mnt. but the error is filesystem is of type ntfs. u cannot mount.

    Which version of RHEL are you using? You have to install fuse, fuse-ntfs-3g, dkms and dkms-fuse packages. All these are available in RPMForge repository.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
