    connect the computers with a cat5 wireless cable and you're settled.

    Set up the CentOS laptop as a wireless hotspot and router. If you have an Android phone it is easier since they have a hotspot mode that allows up to 5 systems to connect into a small wireless LAN. I use my Nexus One for that quite frequently. It has the added advantage of giving all the connected systems access to the internet via the phone's 3g or Edge data capabilities.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
