hi,
file i have taken the dump of rhel5 to /var/ftp/pub. i installed yum,its working perfectly,
then the next day i tried to install package through yum , i got an error

eror: 550 cant change the directory /var/ftp/pub/Server
then i tried to change with chmod 777 Server.
error: cant change input/output error
then i was listed permissions with command LL in /var/ftp/pub
i have seen a different permissions

I was shocked to see it
can u please tell wats the problem .?
how can i change permissions to this?
wats above permissions ? indicates ?
