Hi,
I am facing some network issue in RHEL 5.4


I have installed RHEL 5.4 in 3-4 dell servers across the network.

through Windows machine i am pinging to all the servers.

The Problem that i am facing is everyday after a period of time 1 of my server ping gets request time out. but when i go to my linux machine in check network status in tht its shows eth0 active also i can ping to my local loopback ip.

This problem gets resolves only when i restart network after that the whole day it does not disconnects. I also check in logs there is no error message i am getting in logs.

This issue i dont face in RHEL 5.1.


Is there any network parameter that i need to change????


Please help me out as this issue i am facing at 1 of my client place.
