I have spent many hours reading forums, downloading drivers, trying many ways to get the wireless card in my laptop working with Fedora 12. The system appears to locate the wireless access point and attempts to connect, but the wireless card never associates with the AP. I have tried with and without security on the router.

Here is the output of the suggested set of system commands.

I have entered the WPA password string in text as well as hex, using the wpa_passphrase command. Neither seems to work. Here is some of the output of /var/log/messages. Any help would be appreciated.
