Can not log in as admin
I had set a password for root/administrator mode. But when again it asked to register a user, I didn't registered any user (left all fields blank) and pressed on "next".
After a reboot, now its asking to log in but there is no username except the "other" option. When I'm clicking on other option its showing a field to put a Username (I tried to leave it blank, used root, admin, etc etc etc but no luck) then another box is coming and asking for password, its not taking that password which I set as root password.
I'm using Fedora -11. If you need any more info just reply me
Thanks in Advance!!

Hi and Welcome !
root login in GUI is disabled in Fedora. Boot up in Single User Mode and create new user using useradd command. There is no other way to login because you haven't created any user during installation. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

As I suggested in last post, boot up in Single User Mode. You will have root privileges in that mode and you can create new user using useradd or adduser command.
Doesn't GRUB Menu has an option to boot up in Single User Mode? In case GRUB Menu is not appearing at startup, press any key at startup. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
