Scilab in Fedora 12
Hi,
Is there any way I can install scilab in fedora 12 through yum.
I tried to compile source code of scilab. But I m not able to finish installation due to dependencies. Can any one please suggest me regarding this
?
I read some threads here, and I found there are many people having trouble with scilab installation/running in Fedora.
Thanks and regards,
raj

Hi,
I found this on fedora (fedoraproject.org/wiki/SIGs/SciTech/Scilab):
Still they are working on dependencies, yet to support.A Scilab RPM has been proposed in Bugzilla (Bug 472639). This has not yet been approved and is awaiting several dependencies. The Scilab binary has been successfully built (locally) without online help, PVM or Matio.
Thanks for help.
