Fedora 13 dial up. How is it done with a serial modem?
I'm trying out Fedora 13 as Mandriva 10 not a contender to supersede Mandriva 08 and I can not find ANYTHING about dial up configuration. I have a serial modem so that is not a problem.
Thanks in advance.

you can add dial-up network using system > Administrator > Network > Device > new > select device

This is what I had to do
You have to install wvdial and a dependency which is libwvstreams-4.6.1-2.fc13.i686.rpm. I think you go to network connections to configure it. If the manager check box is checked it won't change the interface over to the 'dialup" GUI so make sure it is unchecked. To dialup go to either Preferences or Administration and there is a application for the user to use to. I would be more specific but I'm not booted into Fedora right now. The network dialog box does not work and state that you are on line or not.
Serendipity to All!
