edit boot menu entries
i have installed two os on my pc
windows 7 and fedora 12.................,but when i boot it shows 3 entries for fedora and one
for windows to select .........how can i remove redundant menu entries.....................
without affecting boot loader

When you update your kernel in Linux, it will typically add an entry to the grub menu so you can boot the previous kernel in case there is a problem with the new one. You can change the order and default by editing the file /boot/grub/grub.conf
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
