    Sharing Problem

    Dear All,

    I want a help regarding Sharing in linux, Actually I created a linux server that CentOS 5.4 and i have shifted all my windows server data include subfolders on linux system. And i configured Samba and also set permissions on folders to a group. The problem is that after 2 or 3 days all folders permissions setting taken by root and group assinged to root and also others to none.

    Kindly tell me how set the permission.

    Please post the contents of /etc/samba/smb.conf here, and a sample user entry from /etc/samba/smbusers if you are using local authentication.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
