    Exclamation Fedora 12,Windows 7,Windows XP,Ubuntu 10.10 Quad Boot

    Hi guys.....
I'm completely new to the 'linuxforums' and this is my first post.
I have an acer laptop with a 320 gb hard-disk.
It has the following partition structure...
    C:50 gb-windows 7
    D:10 gb-Windows xp(sp3)
    E:80 gb-general use
    F:70 gb-general use
    G:70 gb-general use
H:15 gb-'Ubuntu(10.10) linux' installed inside windows using "wubi" installer
    I: 3 gb-free drive (completely formatted)

I need to install Fedora core 12 in addition to the above OS's. In short I need to setup a quad boot system.
Can I make use of the free drive (I: 3 gb) to install fedora without harming the other installed OS's. I can use partition manager to add some more free space to the drive if required. My only aim is to install Fedora without disturbing the other OS's(neither the partitions nor their boot loaders). Can someone suggest a way to do so.........
Expecting a prompt reply....(got my practical exams in just 2 days)
    Thanks in advance....

How do you expect to boot from it if you don't install grub or configure windows bootloader to boot fedora? Also latest fedora is 14

To use that last partition you will need to move space around because I don't think it is enough for fedora

Also you will need to be very careful resizing

As Coopstah pointed out. You are probably going to end up breaking all your installs. You probably already are maxed out on Primary partitions with Windows XP, 7, probably a couple of primary recovery partitions in there some where also.

You might reconsider and run Fedora using Virtual Box running in Windows XP.

    Multi Boot OS

I have multi boot OS setup as 1.Win XP, 2. Win7, 3. Fedora 13, 4. SUSE 11.3 and 5. Mandriva Spring 2010. Installation done as C primary partition using directory as Windows for XP and Windows0 for Win7and all the remaining disks space as extended partitions used for all linux versions. Boot loaders (Grub Legacy) for Fedora and SUSE installed on boot partition of that OS. Mandriva 2010 installed lastly and Boot loader Grub Legacy installed on first partition. Mandriva Boot loader detected all the OS and all the OS.s can be booted successfully. For God's sake do'nt install Ubuntu 10.4 or 10.10 . You will loose all the data or set-up of all the OS will be spoiled. You can boot only Ubuntu. Ubuntu uses Grub2 boot loader by default and stadard partition is not recognised by this boot loader.
