i am trying to install redhat 4 update 3 on the HP pro dl380 g7 machine.
but got stuck in the third step.

no driver found
dear all,
i am trying to install redhat 4 update 3 on the HP pro dl380 g7 machine.
but got stuck in the third step.
after selecting language and key board i am getting "no driver found" message.
i am doing installation through DVD.
pls do help me out.

rh4 is too old.
rh6 came out of beta just two days ago.
That might be an option,
or also still rh5.
It´s a bit of a tradeoff.
I expect rh6 to be stable and mature, but it *is* a major release,
so you will find less documentation on the net and also may need to alter some confs, howtos, etc
But rh6 will be supported for years to come.
On the other hand, there is rh5.5, which is proven to work and has tons of documentation.
But support for it will eventually run into end of life.

I agree with irithori and highly recommend the upgrade to RHEL 6 if possible. Too many issues will continue to haunt you with RHEL 4.
