CentOS5 64-bit & Kodak webcam T130
Hello. I am a Linux beginner/novice. Am having troubles getting my WebCam to work from CentOS5 host or from within my virtual machines. I use VMware Workstation 7 and have multiple Windows and Linux based vm's. Cannot get the Webcam working in any setting.
Bought a Kodak T130 4MB unit because the ad said it worked with Linux.
I have verified that all host software updates are current; installed lastest NVidia driver for the Geforce card as there are other users that say the NVidia video has recently had issues. To the best of my knowledge the OS is complete and up to date. Have downloaded/installed the video4linux driver set. Cannot find specific driver or installation software for this webcam in a Linux format.
Any ideas? Any help is much appreciated.

Here is the webcam driver site: http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca5xx.html
There are two Kodak entries, neither of which are the T130; however, the listed driver for them may work with your camera. I used the drivers and instructions on this site to get my camera working with my 64-bit CentOS system.Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
