No sound after OSS installation.
Ok well I found several occurences of this problem, but all the fixes were in ubuntu.. Anyway, Ive been trying to get ePSXe to work, and I finaly got it runnin, but found out that I had no sound when I load an ISO. So I looked into OSS. I downloaded the latest rpm that I could find and installed it. From what I read I get the feeling that that isnt how I should have done it. Anyway, once I installed it, I had sound for ePSXe, and flash, but nothing else. Im not exactly sure what happened. Im running FC13 btw.
Any ideas?

Ok so I followed the instructions here: No sound on Fedora 13 x64 after OSS install. - Overclock.net - Overclocking.net
which basically said to install pulse audio, but when I go to preferences>sound>hardware, I still have nothing. Output is also listed as "dummy output" It would be best if I could just somehow go back to the default driver that was being used. How would I do that?

Try the ALSA sound system. I think OSS is outdated (though I may be confused about that - a senior moment perhaps).
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!

Well the thing is. I think that was what was already installed, but I dont know how I would go about going back to that after I installed OSS.
