Unable to Install Linux Over Win7 (Dual Boot)
I am having 320G of HDD , on the HD i m having 40G free space when i m trying to install rhel5.4 in the free part it is showing me this error
PLS HELP ME any body its urgentCould not allocate partitions as primary partitions: Partitioning failed: Could not allocate partitions as primary partitions.Not enough space left to create partition for /boot

You likely have the max. of 4 primary partitions used. Need to see the output from any linux the output of ' fdisk -l ' { note: the -l is a small L not a 1'one'},.to see what can be done. What OS's are currently on your system ?

Lostfarmer must be right...I'm not sure about RHEL,but when I'd same problem installing Ubuntu Desktop edition I used logical partition instead of using primary partition to install Ubuntu and it was success.
Not sure if that helps but just a clue
