On Fedora 13 if I change a theme for Firefox the buttons are always spaced the same way. If I try to install the Vista theme style of Ff the forward and backward page view buttons will not be joined but be sepparated and placed the same distance apart as the original Firefox theme. Also this concept matches my file manager layout.

So my thinking is there must be an application somewhere up on the chain that controls (template) for windows themes, GTK maybe? Whatever controls the themes must be an API of another program. What is this program and can it be edited to change the control button template?

Thanks in advance!
